Q: Tell Us A Bit About Your Business and Your Grand Vision?
A: We are the first in the world that we know of to create online fishing courses. Our signature course Barra Basics was such a success we decided to create more! We help anglers fish smarter not harder and catch more fish in less time using our 30 years of fishing knowledge.
Q: What made you decide to get a virtual assistant?
A: We were getting so bogged down in the running of the business we were not able to focus on creating more courses. Servicing existing clients to a high standard meant we were run ragged and getting exhausted.
Q: How has getting a good virtual assistant helped you to accelerate your vision for your business?
A: Oh my God, our VA from The Virtual Hub is a superstar! He has taken so much off our plate that we are free to focus on making more courses—which equals making more money. And we get to spend quality time teaching our clients fishing. Any technical aspects are handled by our VA, freeing us up.
Q: What is one specific area or project your VA has worked on with you to get results in your business?
A: Automating via Ontraport. Our VA is an Ontraport expert and automates and schedules emails, entry to courses, marketing messages, etc. We write them and he gets them to the right people on our list at the right time.
Q: How has life changed for you since getting a VA?
A: Our business is growing and yet we are not working harder or longer hours.
Q: What would you say to others who are thinking about getting a VA but too nervous or overwhelmed to pull the trigger?
A: In the words of sporting giant, Nike: Just do it!
We wish we had done it years ago.
